My path into climate governance began not in policy spaces, but with people - in peace organisations, grassroots environmental movements, and communities in Brazil whose ecological knowledge was rich, rigorous, and systematically overlooked.A single question has followed me across every context since: who is still missing from this conversation? It shaped my work in ethnobiology, in refugee inclusion programmes in Italy, in ocean literacy initiatives that translated international frameworks into 16 languages, and in IPCC and UNFCCC processes where I kept asking whose voices weren't yet in the room.Today that question leads me to urban climate governance and democratic innovation - developing diagnostic tools that assess not just whether cities are acting on climate, but whether those actions are genuinely inclusive and accountable.I bring reflexive thinking to instigate new questions and build new ways of seeing through my role as an International Consultant or Founder of Empathea Blue Ltda - a knowledge mobilization consultancy firm.
